We will travel west with a brief break along the way before walking
across the border to the quaint town of Los Algodones, Mexico. Abundant
shopping opportunities abound and your guide will assist you in
bargaining for pottery, leather goods, inexpensive jewelry and more.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a charming local restaurant while being
serenaded by Mariachi players.
Next, back to the U.S. to visit the Historic Yuma Territorial Prison
Museum where more than 3,000 desperadoes were imprisoned during
the prison's 33-year existence between 1876 and 1909.
During the summer this tour will visit Nogales, Mexico and the historic
18th century San Xavier mission, known as the "White Dove of
the Desert". We will travel across the border for shopping
similar to that of the description of Los Algodones above. |
Our tours are conducted in deluxe, stretch, 15 passenger vans
with no more than 12 total passengers. Complimentary soft drinks
and water are provided.
