Hopi Mesas
Travel to all three Hopi Mesas to visit the oldest communities in North America. Accompanied by a Hopi guide we will walk through the ancient village of Walpi, where the culture of the Hopi people will be explained in detail. This tour also includes admission to the tribal Museum and lunch at the Visitor's Center. We leave Sedona at 8:00 am and return to Sedona in time for dinner.

Monument Valley
Travel across Navaho Land to spectacular Monument Valley where John Ford first showed America the Monuments used as a backdrop for many of his movies starting with Stage Coach in 1939. Monument Valley was last seen in the Navaho Code Talkers story "Wind Talkers". Journey with a Navaho Guide on a four-hour adventure and learn about the Navaho (Dine) people and their mystical and beautiful land. Travel into the backcountry normally off-limits to non-Navahos. Lunch is on us so try some Indian Fry bread or stick with the regular fare!

Canyon de Chelly
Journey with us across the Navaho Reservation to the ancient stronghold and heart of Navaho Land; Canyon Del Muerto and Canyon de Chelly. Called Tsegie, ("Say-ee") which means "big rock canyon" in the Navaho language. It was mispronounced by the Spaniards and then by the Anglo-Americans who followed. Take a four hour guided tour of the canyon accompanied by a Navaho guide who will reveal and explain the petroglyphs and recount the story of the three native societies who have called this peaceful canyon their home. We will take a short break and side trip at the Hubbell Trading Post established in 1878.
